The SIUE Society of Women Engineers is an organization designed with the intent of aspiration, advancement and achievement of young women and non binary students in Engineering. Being a notoriously difficult field with a large gender gap, we meet once a month, planning events designed to connect with other women in the industry! 

Through SWE, we host both social and professional events, with one general meeting a month. In the past, social events have included bowling nights and a tye-dye event, and professional events might include resume workshops and networking events. Throughout the year, we have also participated in attending the National Conference, Regional Conference, and other events through the School of Engineering (Engineering Orientation, Tabling in the MUC, etc).
