The playoff format is:
" 7.6 In a seven team league, the team placing first will receive a by for the first round of playoffs. The remaining teams will face off in the first round as follows:
7.6.1 2nd vs. 7th, 3rd vs. 6th, 4th vs. 5th"
With that, The Weyburn Oil Queens will receive a by and the first rounds will be as follows:
2 - Weyburn Leafs vs 7 - Oxbow Hot Dawgs
3 - Estevan Wildcats vs. 6 - Bienfait Bulldogs
4 - Redvers Ice Princesses vs. 5 - Arcola Hot Peppers
The top team in the pairings will have home ice advantage, so the second game. Please still work with each other to accommodate this series though. It is us up to the two teams in the pairings to schedule your two games and they must be completed by February 22nd. This series will be a two game, total point series. Please refresh yourself on the play off rules and make sure your refs are aware. Please have your scoresheets into me first thing the next morning after your game so that we can stay on top of scheduling the next rounds.
Reminder - you must have 5 regular season games in order to be able to play in playoffs. Please check your rosters on the website and make sure that everything looks ok. I will be doing another check too, but any amendments must be brought to my attention before the first playoff game (Feb 14th).
