If you have an undergraduate (or master's) degree in bioengineering, computer, electrical, biomedical engineering, or a related field, and have a strong interest, motivation, and background in contributing to the exciting, high-impact, interdisciplinary AI,  computer vision, biomedical imaging, super-resolution microscopy, and neuroscience field, please feel free to contact me [skgaire [at] ncat [dot] edu] to discuss this opportunity. We are always looking for talented and motivated graduate students to join our team. Knowledge and expertise in implementing AI/ML tools for imaging are required. 

Ideal candidates should have a solid background in imaging, image processing and analysis, and AI/ML (deep learning implementation with CNN and transformer models). We are particularly interested in candidates with strong programming skills in Tensorflow, Pytorch, Caffe, or other similar deep learning frameworks. Strong proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and other similar programming languages is required. Some experience with image segmentation, classification, and analysis will be a plus.

Additional criteria:

• Undergraduate GPA: 3.5+ 

• GRE, IELTS/TOEFL, and English translation and course-by-course evaluation of transcripts are required for international applicants (mandatory).
