National Webinar on Cancer Awareness

The National Webinar on Cancer Awareness was organized on 18th April, 2023 jointly by the Department of Education, Assam University, Silchar, Guru Angad Dev Teaching Learning Centre (GAD-TLC) and Indian Cancer Society. The chief guest and resource person of the webinar was the Padma Shri Awardee Dr. Ravi Kannan R. sir. Other speakers include Mrs. Jyotsna Govil (Chairperson, Indian Cancer Society, Delhi Branch), Mrs. Aruna Ummat (Director, ICS, Delhi Branch), and Col Ajai Tomar (Retd) (CEO of Indian Cancer Society, Delhi Branch). The advisor of the event was Prof. Vimal Rah (Joint Director, GAD-TLC, MHRD, Delhi). Chairman of the webinar was Prof. R. Balakrishnan (HoD (i/c), Dept. of Education, AUS) and the Dean of A.M. School of Educational Sciences, Prof. Geetika Bagchi took the chair of the Patron of the webinar. Coordinator of the webinar was Dr. Sukanta Mondal, and all the five student interns were co-coordinators.
