Welcome to the Suffolk Area branch of the Military Vehicle Trust. Our dedicated members preserve and restore wartime and post-war historic machinery. Suffolk is home to the iconic Eighth Air Force bomber and fighter groups we bring history to life for future generations and returning veterans.

In today's throwaway society, our members find genuine satisfaction in taking a neglected, rusty 70-year-old vehicle and bringing it back into pristine mechanical operating condition.

Join Our Monthly Meetings

The Suffolk Area MVT meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 8:00 PM at the Royal British Legion in Stowmarket. Meetings usually conclude around 10:00 PM. The monthly meetings are run with a casual format. Whether you want restoration advice or simply enjoy hearing wartime oral histories over a pint, come join us.”

All Enthusiasts Welcome

You do not have to own a military vehicle to join.
