Welcome to the Suffolk Area website of the Military Vehicle Trust. Our members enjoy owning and restoring all types of military vehicles and related equipment both wartime and post war. The Suffolk area is home to many sites of WW2 airfields both Bomb and fighter groups. One of our event highlights is display our vehicles at these sites and meet returning veterans and their families.

We are a friendly group who enjoy our hobby and we welcome any new members. Please feel free to come to one of our monthly meetings, you don't have to be a vehicle owner to get involved. There is a great satisfaction in this throwaway age to get a rusty 70 year old piece of equipment working like new, thereby preserving it for future generations to see.

The Suffolk area of the MVT has a club night that meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 8pm at the British Legion,  8 Tavern Street, Stowmarket IP14 1PH.  The meeting normally ends at about 10 pm. At the meeting  we cover normal day to day issues. This is normally followed by members talking about what they have been doing with their vehicles over the past month. A lot of good information sharing and advice is to be had during this time.  We will then have a guest speaker, a film show or another form of entertainment.

The monthly meetings are run by our area secretary

John Berry. To contact John please see the contacts page.
