Below I post a number of software/code snippets. I have created a few of them from scratch. Rest are essentially modified versions of freely available codes on the web.

This is a Windows installer for a click-n-run software for performing mixed model ANOVA (one way, two way and three way w/o nesting).

Read '!READ ME.txt' to know more about this software. Arrange your data following 'sample dataset' before you start the analysis. The format for arranging data is identical to that of StatSoft STATISTICA software.
All the formulae used here are from the book 'Biostatistical Analysis' (4th Edition, Pearson Education) written by Jerrold H. Zar. The results are compatible with StatSoft STATISTICA 5 software.
This is the installer of the above software for Linux systems, where python is pre-installed.
Run 'ANOPY_1.2.1' after unzipping the installer. It will initially install all the python-modules required for the functioning of the software based on your answer. Remaining instructions remain same as above.

Nakagawa, S. & Cuthill, I.C. (2007) Effect size, confidence interval and statistical significance: a practical guide for biologists. Biological Reviews, 82,591–605
The primary reference for calculating the error term is located at Page 284 of
HUNTER, J. E. & SCHMIDT, F. L. (2004). Methods of Meta-Analysis: Correcting Error and Bias in Research Finding, 2nd edition. Sage, Thousand Oaks, CA.
This error term is particularly roboust to small sample sizes.

It requires a basic knowledge of python.
Steps:
- Turn on less secure mode of your Gmail account here https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps (Don't worry!)
- Create an Excel file containing all the names and email addresses of the recipients (example).
- Download the script in the same folder, where the excel file is present.
- Edit the script according to your need.
- Run the script with live internet connection.
- Turn off less secure mode of your Gmail account here https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps
*Self emailing is highly recommended to check the functionality of this script before sending emails to others.
Utility:
- Monitoring progress of your program/simulation remotely.
- Sending personalized messages to all the members of a big group/conference/workshop.

No knowledge of programming language is required.
Steps:
- Put all the .pdf files you want to merge in a folder. NOTE: The script merges the files based on the alphabetical order of their names. So you may rename them with numbers, which is suitable for your desired sequence of the files.
- Download the scripts in the same folder.
- Run 'start merging' by double clicking on it.
*It was very helpful while compiling all the chapters of my PhD thesis.
** You can also manually incorporate the name of .pdf files in desired order by editing 'pdf_merger.py' file. But this requires a basic understanding of python syntax.

It requires a basic knowledge of python.
Often it become difficult to download big pdf files. Use the following script, provide correct url i.e. weblink of the pdf file and run it. The script will download the file for you.
No knowledge of programming language is required.
This is a Windows installer for a click-n-run software for counting the number of times a query-word is present in each of the .pdf files inside a user specified folder.

This is particularly useful for identifying which articles are more useful for a specific topic. It will sort all the articles in the user specified folder according to their query counts of the user-specified key word.

It requires a basic knowledge of python.
Steps
- Download the script.
- Edit the script to write your message, which you want to encode.
- Run the script. It will automatically save an image of the QR code in the same folder.

It requires a basic knowledge of python.
Steps
- Download the script.
- Edit the script to write correct urls of the videos you want to download.
- Run the script. It will automatically save the videos in the same folder.
Note: by default the output format for the downloaded videos is .mp4. Please alter based on your need.
