OVERVIEW
Work in my lab tends to fall into one of two categories. Either it's fairly classic oculomotor control (studies of eye movements in various contexts) or it's to do with visual function (or how to work out it's going wrong). From time to time I've dabbled in other areas such as technology adoption, or qualitative studies of the experience of ophthalmology patients of various types. I could get interested in a lot of things, but specialsation is curse of modern academic life (even although I feel much like Physcicist Gregory Benford who said: "I've always felt that specialization is best left to the insects").
