It was great to celebrate the 160th anniversary of St Luke's this October.
Oamaru celebrates our Victorian Heritage Weekend and we have plenty of events happening then for you to join in with:
North Otago Floral Arts Society has a display in St Luke's church 10:30am-3:30pm Friday 14th -Sunday 16th (gold coin donation)
Grandma's Treasures are for sale in St Luke's Hall on Saturday 15th November 10am-2:30pm. A Victorian morning tea is available while you contemplate your purchases.

Very Revd Dr Tony Curtis (dean of St Paul's Cathedral Dunedin) and the Cathedral choir will be leading us in our Heritage service Sunday 16th November at 10:30am followed by a Victorian morning tea
Very Revd Dr Tony Curtis (dean of St Paul's Cathedral Dunedin) and the Cathedral choir with organist Dr Ron Newton will lead us in a Victorian evensong Sunday 16th November at 2:45pm.
On November 30th the parish will gather to celebrate the 140th anniversary of St Andrew's in Maheno. There will be a 10:30am service at St Andrew's Maheno, followed by a shared lunch and a chance to look at photos and hear stories. Please spread the word and invite others. We look forward to catching up with old friends as well as current parishioners. (There will be no morning service at St Luke's that day.)
We'd love to have you join us for any of our services or other activities. Our regular services are:
Sunday 9am: Holy Communion at St Andrew's Maheno, followed by fellowship over a cuppa
Sunday 10:30am Holy Communion at St Luke's, followed by fellowship over a cuppa
Sunday 7pm at St Luke's - usually night prayer or, once a month, a Taizé service
Tuesday 9am morning prayer at St Luke's
Thursday 12 noon midday prayer at St Luke's
1st, 3rd and 5th Thursdays of the month 10am: Holy Communion at St Luke's, followed by fellowship over a cuppa
We have a special children's programme at the 10:30 Sunday service; people of all ages are welcome to all of our services. We also have other activities during the week for children and young people - weekly literacy groups to help young ones with their reading; a fortnightly kidsclub- a fun-filled after school program for kids, fortnightly badminton for young ones, all-age table tennis and involving young ones in music for Sunday.
Thursday 20th November we have our Monthly Community Lunch- for the wider community. This lunch is provided at no charge. You're welcome to come along anytime between 12 noon and 1:15pm.
Where volunteers are available we are seeking to open St Luke's church to vistors Monday-Saturday 10:30am-3:30pm
