Madison Lovelace - Varsity Head Coach

Madison is an Intensity Alumni from the Class of 2017. She played volleyball throughout her high school years, and still plays today in competitive sand volleyball leagues. Madison has assisted Intensity over the past few years while earning her degree and working full time. She has a passion to see players improve and take their play to the next level.

Austin Reed - Junior Varsity Head Coach

Austin joined the Intensity Coaching Staff in 2022. He played on his high school volleyball team, along with playing on competitive club teams. At the completion of high school, Austin received offers to play at the collegiate level and made the decision to play for Lakeland College in Wisconsin. He still plays competitive and recreational volleyball multiple times a week. After leaving Lakeland, Austin served in the United States Air Force. He is excited to share his knowledge and love of the game with his players. He desires to see the potential in each one and to encourage them to be the best they can be.

Kiersten Hamilton - JV & Varsity Head Practice Coach

After playing with Intensity Volleyball for seven years, Kiersten graduated in 2018 and joined the coaching staff in the fall of the same year. Kiersten not only played for Intensity, but also played competitive club volleyball for multiple seasons. She brings an excitement and enthusiasm to the organization and instills a love for volleyball in all of the young girls that she coaches. Kiersten has a tremendous amount of volleyball knowledge and looks forward to sharing it with all of her players.

Ray Twohy - Junior High Competitive Head Coach

Ray joined the Intensity Coaching Staff in 2012, when both of his daughters took an interest in volleyball. He has coached all skill levels for the organization, as well as CYC teams for both boys and girls. Ray has been active in youth sports for many years. He likes to focus on all aspects of the athlete--skills, nutrition, conditioning, and mental toughness.

Abi Dickmann - Junior High Developmental Coach

After playing with Intensity for all four of her high school years, Abi decided to continue her love of the game and joined the Coaching Staff in 2020. She bagan as the Head Coach for the Junior High Black team. Now in 2021 she is choosing to be an Assistant Coach so that she can increase her knowledge of the game and learn from those who have more experience. Abi looks forward to applying what she learns with a team of her own in the future.
