Welcome to our website! Here you can find details of our usual services and events, the special services coming up and information about the Anglican presence in Izmir, past and present. UPDATE (7 October 2021)

SUNDAY 31 OCTOBER is All Saints' Sunday, when we give thanks for the witness of the Saints in this and every age, and celebrate that in Christ we are part of that Great Cloud of Witnesses (Hebrews 12: 1). Please see below** for upcoming celebrations at St John's Church and at St Mary Magdalene's Church in Bornova, including our ARMISTICE DAY AND REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY ceremonies.

Our regular Sunday service, the Eucharist, is at 10.00 AM on Sundays. Sensible measures to protect our health are in place. A warm welcome to all! The autumn is a time of transition and change for many in the international community. If you are new in Izmir, we look forward to meeting you and if you have questions about life in Turkey and Izmir our friendly community has much accumulated experience, and we'd be delighted to help you.

Our congregation members come from many different parts of the world, but our common language is English, which we use both in our worship and in our other meetings.

In normal times we meet weekly for Evening Prayer on Tuesday afternoons at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, Bornova. However, during the current restoration of St Mary's Church, the service is suspended. We meet on-line instead.

See separate page for more information about the Anglican Church of St Mary Magdalene, Bornova.
