My experience of Cognitive Therapy was initially gained by taking an introduction and basic skills course at the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre. I have since taken other workshops on this style of working, which I use in short and long term work.

I am committed to attending regular training and doing personal development, to help me be able to do the best job that I can. My previous experience includes working as a counsellor for the CCC (Cambridge Consultancy in Counselling) and running a counselling service at Stamford College and running a private practice.

I have been working for 10 years in Primary Healthcare, for the NHS, in an IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) service. I am an active member and Trustee for the Cambridgeshire Consultancy in Counselling. I also do EAP (employee assistance program) work for AXA Healthcare.
