Removed Streaming API Requirement

Since release 2.2, which introduced the StickIt Automation Station, Salesforce orgs without access to the Streaming API have been unable to update to the latest version of StickIt - relying solely on patch updates to resolve critical issues. With this release, access to the Streaming API is no longer required to install StickIt. Orgs without Streaming API access will be unable to use the Automation Station, but all other core features and functionality - including new features - is available without restriction.

Fixed an issue where incomplete default settings caused StickIt to hang

Some users who created default settings in older versions of StickIt, or from the updated Activity Log dialog released in version 2.80, experienced an issue where StickIt failed to complete the build process and became unresponsive. Enhancements were made to the default setting creation and retrieval process to resolve this issue.

Performance Tuning

Refactored back-end code to increase performance of the label build process, specifically related to Field Level Security checking of merge fields. These improvements will be most helpful for labels that contain many merge fields across multiple objects.

More easily create, edit and remove Default Settings

In this release, managing personal default settings is easier than ever. With the addition of a Default Settings dialog, you can create, edit, and remove your personal default settings right from the StickIt Label Builder.

Automatically Log Activities and Save Label Previews

You may now choose to have activity records and label previews automatically created during the label printing process. To enable, set Automatically Log Activity and/or Automatically Save Preview to "on" from the Default Settings dialog.

Please note that when using the Automatically Save Preview option, Automatically Log Activity is required to be On.

Build and print labels from Report results

StickIt is more powerful than ever with the all new Print from Reports interface. Print from Reports allows you to seek, filter and launch supported Salesforce reports in a single view. Report results are displayed in a familiar list view style format for easy record selection and hand-off to the StickIt! Label Builder.

Features include:

• Report Filtering:
  • Folder: Display only reports in a specific folder
  • Search Term: Search for reports where Report Name contains the search value
  • Letter: Display only reports where Report Name starts with specified letter
• Report Actions:
  • Launch: Run the report and display results as a selectable list
  • View: Open the report in the Standard Salesforce Report Builder for easy viewing and/or modification of the report
• Report Results
  • Pagination: Easily navigate results with forward/backward navigation, or jump to a specific page number. Additionally, specify how many rows should appear per page: 25, 50, 100 or 200.
  • Quickly select all records with the Select All Records button
  • Clear selected records with the Clear Selected button
  • Generate Labels button (with selected record total) to quickly hand-off the selected records to the StickIt Label Builder.

StickIt! Print from Reports guidelines and implementation notes:

• StickIt! Print from Reports can be accessed in Salesforce Classic via the All Tabs (+) page, or from the App Launcher in the Lightning Experience
• Only tabular style reports will be available in the default report list and via searching. Summary and joined reports are not currently supported.
• Reports MUST include the Salesforce Record Id as the first column of the report. The Record Id should identify the record for which the label will be generated.
• As is standard when running reports in the standard Salesforce Report interface, only the first 2000 result rows will be available.
