- Used when it is necessary to print the label number in reference to a total and the sequence either starts at a number other than 1 or a custom separator is desired.

- Used when it is necessary to print the label number in reference to a total and the sequence values should be dynamically derived from merge data.

- Useful in scenarios when the print quantity for a label template is always more than 1 and it is not desirable for the user to specify with each print operation.

- Code 39 barcodes support numeric values only and the DYMO Label Software prevents you from entering a merge field as the barcode value because "{mergefield}" contains alpha-characters. These instructions describe a workaround for creating your dynamic Code 39 barcode.
