Welcome!!! We are excited to have you as a member of the cast and crew of joseph. Below you will find important details. Please read them carefully with your parents, sign it and return the commitment form to Mrs. Clinton.
PARENTS-PLEASE READ THIS LETTER CAREFULLY FOR THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE TIME COMMITMENT.
REHEARSALS
For 7th and 8th graders- rehearsals began in January on Saturdays and certain weeknights. Extra rehearsals will be called as needed.
For 4th,5th and 6th graders-rehearsals will begin in mid January on Saturdays. Extra rehearsals may be called nearer to show dates.
*****Please check the St. Genesius website DAILY, for rehearsal times. It is important to be at rehearsals to learn the music, choreography and blocking (where you will stand on the stage).

Rehearsals will take place in both the music room and the cafeteria during January and February and move into the Theatre (aka the gym) beginning in March.
*********************Mandatory tech Week **********************************************
TECH WEEK
TECH WEEK IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AND REQUIRES FULL COMMITMENT FROM EVERY CAST AND CREW MEMBER. Tech week is the week before the show when the set, lights and sound are places and dress rehearsals will occur. IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY THAT EVERYONE IS PRESENT FOR THE REHEARSALS THAT WEEK AND THEREFORE IT IS MANDATORY FOR ALL CAST AND CREW. Please look at the possible conflicts you may have before deciding if you are willing to commit to be part of the show.
THE MANDATORY REHEARSAL FOR THE ENTIRE CAST AND CREW WILL BEGIN SATURDAY MARCH 14th AND SUNDAY MARCH 15th (ALL DAY REHEARSALS) WITH EVENING REHEARSALS (TBD) THAT WEEK. THERE WILL BE NO REHEARSAL OR SHOW ON THIRSDAY DUE TO TERRA NOVA TESTING.

Thursday March 19th – 1:00 school show
Friday March 20st - 7:30 pm show
Saturday March 21st 2 pm and 7:30 pm show
YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL PERFORMANCES
COST
The cost to participate in the show is $50 per student ($75 for two or more). The cost of the show helps to offset the costs for lights and sound rental, show license and show materials as well as t- shirts, performance video download and cast party. Please make checks payable to “St. Denis” Please notify Mrs. Clinton if there is a problem with cost.
