North Fork Valley

This online, interactive map highlights the historic structures and important locations encompassed by the North Fork historic district, established in Montgomery County, VA.  A local resident approached us with the idea to make a map of these historic farms and buildings, to be featured on the Montgomery County website as a part of Virginia's 250th anniversary. 

The interactive web map was completed by undergraduate student and cartography TA Calvin Tankersley; much of the external research was completed by Kristin McChesney.
