I am an Associate Professor at the Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. I hold a Ph.D. in Development Economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, Switzerland. I also earned an M.A. in Economics from the Research Institute of Economics and Management (RIEM) at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, and a B.A. in Finance from Sichuan University, China.

In 2019–2020, I was a visiting fellow in the Labor and Worklife Program at Harvard University. Earlier, in 2017, I served as a visiting Ph.D. fellow at the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER).

Beyond my academic pursuits, I enjoy photography, hiking, and skiing.
