I am an Assistant Professor (tenure track) at Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. I obtained my Ph.D. in Development Economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, Switzerland.  I obtained an M.A. in Economics from the Research Institute of Economics and Management (RIEM) at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics and a B.A. in Finance from Sichuan University in China.

 I was a visiting fellow in the Labor and Worklife Program at Harvard University during 2019-2020, and was a visiting Ph.D. fellow at the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER) in 2017. Besides research, I also like photography, hiking, and skiing.
