I am an Associate Professor of Economics and Business at the Colorado School of Mines and an affiliated faculty of the Mines' Hydrologic Science and Engineering. My research focuses on environmental and natural resource economics and draws heavily from economic history and new institutional economics. Many research projects have centered around water.
