HPC facilities
The LBT hosts two clusters based on Intel and AMD technologies.
The clusters share the same production and storage space with I/O controlled by 4 independent servers. A general description of the services and infrastructure is given in the PDF below.
Hades:: Intel X5660 (30 nodes/356 cores) + E52697v2 (1 node/48 core)
Lucifer:: AMD Operon 6380 (28 nodes/896 cores)
Infiniband:: QLogic QDR (40Gbs)
Storage:: 78TB (replicated data)
Archive:: 112TB (replicated data)
