It can get a bit compulsive taking photos of this island as the light changes throughout the day, but these will do for now.
This three day festival is held at various venues in and around Orta SG but the celebratory finale take place on the island in Salle Talleone, a 17th palazzo reached by small ferry boats.
Water lapping, church bells floating across the lake, 6-7 course meals at long tables with poets, much pasta, wine. What's not to like?
