My Dad had an official crest fashioned based on the Munker family traits.
Represented are a plow for farming, and a shoe in recognition of a shoemaker.
The colors red and white are those of the region of Frankonia in Southern Germany.
We have an extensive Family Tree my dad has researched about the origins and heritage of the Munker and Seitz relatives. I have copies, documents and photos we hope to pass on to the next generations. I am also working on an electronic record of our families with MyHeritage.
In the links on this page I have attempted to preserve my personal memories of some of our family members.
We met in 1995 as seminary students.
Finding our soul mate and marrying across continents was not anything either of us would have ever dreamt about (actually that's not true, I did, it's still pretty incredible). But we feel that it not only makes for a good story but has turned out to be a witness to God's wonderful possibilities.
We have been married since 1997.

Cindy and I are cat people and have been around other pets in our families of origin. Each of us had cats before we met, and have shared our home with two cats during our marriage before we adopted Dexter in 2023.

Cindy and I enjoy vacation trips. But we often travel to visit family or friends. We specially value time with relatives in Germany.
