Baptism

Parents seeking to have their child baptized should contact the pastor, ideally a few weeks prior to the birth of their child. Baptisms may be celebrated within or without Mass at a day and time agreed to between the family and the pastor.

Confirmation

In the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois, the Sacrament of Confirmation is normally received in the third grade at the same time as First Communion. Children beyond the third grade and adults seeking Confirmation should contact the pastor.

Holy Communion

The first reception of Holy Communion in the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois is normally received in the third grade at the same time as Confirmation. Children beyond the third grade and adults seeking to receive the Eucharist for the first time, should contact the pastor.

The Holy Mass is offered on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. and Mondays through Thursdays at 7:00 a.m. On Holy Days of Obligation, the Holy Mass is normally offered at 6:30 p.m.

Penance

Confessions are heard on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. or anytime by (anonymous) appointment.

Anointing of the Sick

Those in need of the Anointing of the Sick should contact the pastor.

Marriage

Couples seeking to be joined in Holy Matrimony should contact the pastor at least six months prior to the intended wedding date.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults: Adults and children older than seven seeking to become Catholic should contact the pastor.
