About Us

The primary purpose of the Student Seminar in Department of Statistics and Probability at Michigan State University is to stimulate students' interest and enhance the comprehension in different research areas. Being honored to have so many great faculty members working on various research frontiers in our department and other related departments at MSU, we are glad to invite them to introduce their current research areas to all students who are strongly interested in statistics and probability. And the students will also give talks in the seminar to present their undergoing work and share new ideas along with what they have learned. This will stimulate the cooperation between the students and professors, and also among different departments.
