Nevada
The Nevada State Archives website takes pride in its main function as a repository for state agency records. But they've made a nice foray into online access of materials of more general interest as well.
For starters, there is the ambitiously-named Nevada State Digital Archives that include
- Death Records -- Social Security Death Index (SSDI) which typically covers 1970s to present.
- Nevada Territorial Census -- assorted records from mid-1860s, many about the census, rather than actual census records
- Nevada State Land Patents -- Just a tease. These are marked as coming soon.

There's a real hodge-podge of other online archive material for Nevada scattered around at various sites.
The Nevada State Historic Preservation Office has online Census Data (some statewide, some local) covering 1860-1920.
You can search marriage records (and sometimes retrieve actual marriage certificates) in several Nevada counties:
- Carson City Marriage Inquiry with images of records (many hand written) back to the 1860s.
- Clark County Recorder's Office, home of Las Vegas, has marriage records back to about 1900.
- Douglas County Marriage Search (Lake Tahoe area) from 1974 to present.
- Washoe County Search Marriage Records, looks to be from the 1970s onward
The State Archives Genealogical Resources page includes some other odds and ends from around the state. Of particular note is the Cooperative Libraries Automated Network Digital Collections with assorted historical records, including several pretty cool newspapers from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. You'll find a lot of additional historical Nevada newspapers at NewspaperArchive, a subscription service.
There's also First Records of Carson Valley, 1851 -- click on Table of Contents to get to actual page images of the log entries of these early settlers -- and Carson County County Court records, 1855-1861
If you're looking for historical photos of Nevada, the Archives has compiled a good collection of links and even has a small collection of its own photos online.
