Physical Appearance: Lyra is a typical Bajoran in height and build. Her straight hair is a rich chocolate brown that reaches to the bottom of her shoulder blades. She has the typical creases along her nose ridge but her hazel eyes indicates that at some point a human might have been involved in her family tree.

History: Lyra grew up in The Dakhur Province on Bajor as an orphan of the Occupation. She spent most of her free time in one of three places: the computer labs of her educational building, the local transport docks, or The Monastery Of Dakeen. Endlessly fascinated with computers and moving parts, she often was dirty and disheveled. However, she always cleaned up to go to the local temple and spend time meditating or gardening in an endeavor to find peace within. The Vedek took her under his wing and helped steer her to more educational pursuits and sponsored her entry into the Star Fleet Academy.

-Develop several revamps to computer systems on Bajor before joining Star Fleet.

-Entered the Academy at age 18

-Graduated at age 21

-Commissioned as a Lt (j.g) in an Academy training program on Bajor.

-Joined the Athena at 23 as Chief Engineer

Medical History: Suffered damage from shrapnel and electromagnetic radiation poisoning due to an explosion caused by Frank Hwang during a routine Replacement job. All injuries were not permanent.

Chief's Office: Lyra chose to keep her office fairly spartan. There are a few plants with varying colored flowers on most surfaces, though her desk is clear. She has two paintings on the wall, matching pieces, with a third on the way painted by her. They are both oil paintings in deep and bold colors and sweeping lines. One is of a woman, strong and beautiful. The other is of the woman on a cliff, staring out into the distant sun with such longing on her face, one might feel the burden and wish to cry.

Chief's Quarters: Lyra surrounds herself in her personal quarters in much the same way she grew up with the Temple being next door. She filled her quarters with plants to make an Eden for herself. There is also a small fountain. In the corner a painting sits, not even close to finished. Not a fan of regulation Star Fleet decor, her bed is a riot of dark colors and the couches and chairs are covered in dark colors.
