Charming cottage located in Traudalen, about 15 minute's drive from the Sandane in Gloppen, for rent. The cabin is about 20 m2 and is suitable for a small family. It consists of a combined living room / bedroom with wood stove, and kitchen / porch. The living room has a large bunk-bed and a regular bunk-bed. Overall, the cottage can accommodate 4-5 adults persons. Well kept outside toilet in the adjoining barn, and water in the river nearby. In other words, no running water and electricity. Traditional mountain-environment that contains well-preserved cottages and barns.

A weekend at the cottage with horseback-riding?

The cottage can be rented with horses. One can then have two horses and use these in the period one has rented the cottage. There are many fine forest-roads and -trails that one can explore. Stall Rygg will help tailoring a program to suit you.

Other activities:

Traudalen is a gateway to the Naustdal-Gjengedal conservation-area. In other words, great scenery wherever you see, and you can go on hikes or walks in the area surrounding the cottage. There are marked trails suitable for all physical levels, excellent for families. There are great troutfishing-possibilities in Lake Traudalen (Traudalsvatnet), Lake Berdalen (Berdalsvatnet) and Lake Instevatnet. The river Traudalselva runs right past the cottage. Hunting licenses for small game can be purchased.
