IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) Kolkata Chapter was established in 2015. The Chapter has regularly sponsored/ organized different Conference/ Workshop/ Seminar/ Contest in every year since. The Society’s interests covers all aspects of solid-state circuits including design, testing and application of circuits and subsystems, as well as closely related topics in device technology and circuit theory. 

IEEE SSCS Kolkata Chapter organized a Distinguished Lecture on Continuous-Time Pipelined Analog-to-Digital Converters  – Where Filtering Meets Analog-to-Digital Conversion by Prof. Shanthi Pavan, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras. 

The Event was held at MCKV Institute of Engineering, Howrah, West Bengal, India on 16 Dec. 2025

Kolkata Section SSCS Chapter is the recipient of the 2025 SSCS Chapter with Best Educational Program Award (Link)

IEEE SSCS Kolkata Chapter has been featured for the 3rd Time consecutively in IEEE SSCS Chapter Honor Roll for the Year 2023 after 2021 and 2022 (Link)
