This portion of the site is dedicated to live performances, recorded locally in the Palo Alto area.

The Trinity Lutheran Choir (TLC) is directed by Sally Treadway, and comprises roughly a dozen singers. Its recordings posted here are from live performances at regular worship services. Our first post is of a piece by Rachmaninoff: "To Thee O Lord." It contains a striking soprano solo in its second half.

The piano solos here were part of the Stanford Continuing Studies program "The Music Emily Heard," performed at Stanford's Campbell Recital Hall.   The trumpet duet ("My Spirit Be Joyful" by Bach) was performed by Sophie Treadway and Jeff Holbrook, to mark the occasion of their wedding. The other solos (trumpet, contralto, and clarinet) were recorded during regular worship services.
