Constitution Day is September 17. To help you prepare for lessons you may create, here are links to some terrific resources.There are additional materials located in each district building that would help you organize a lesson to recognize this amazing document that has guided our country for so long. Thinkfinity offers lesson plans, activities, educational games and so much more. You will find lessons that cover the Constitutional Convention, the First Amendment and even Constitution Costs. You can even include an interactive, such as Charting the Constitution. These are just a few of the many educational resources available on Thinkfinity about Constitution Day.

Bill of Rights Institute- http://www.billofrightsinstitute.org/ - Founded in 1999, The Bill of Rights Institute is a non-profit organization with a mission to develop programs and curriculum that teach students about the founding of our nation and what it means to be an American citizen.

Annenberg Classroom http://www.annenbergclassroom.org/ - There are videos and audio lessons available on your computer at this site. Also, the Intermediate/Middle School and High School Media centers have DVDs from the Annenberg project - "Our Constitution: A Conversation" with Justices O'Connor and Breyer and "Key Constitutional Concepts."
