Illinois and US Women of Today

Welcome and hello!!

My name is Mary Werries, and I am the new President for Springfield Women of Today. The Women of Today is a non-profit civic organization which provides its members with leadership training, and personal growth opportunities through community service projects. The Springfield  chapter meets monthly on th second Tuesday at various restaurants around the Springfield area. We strive every month to make sure we are doing what we can to help those in need.  Our group not only concentrates on community service, leadership opportunities and personal growth, but we are also united inb our friendship, belief in the future, and making the world a better place through our community service. Some of the projects we engage in include making crafts for Operation Christmas Child, collecting new pillows for
Domestic Violence facilities, collecting aluminum can tabs for Ronald McDonalds House, addressing greeting cards for local nursing homes, and many more. If you are interested in learning more about out group, please message us and come to a meeting! We would love to hear from you!!
