SILVANO BRICOLA was born in Como in 1949. He graduated in Milan at “Liceo Artistico Fra Angelico” and then at Brera’s Academy of fine Arts in the Painting corse kept by Pompeo Borra.
He has been a professional drawing teacher in the pictorial decoration course of the National Institute of Art in Cantù. In 1977 he followed the international lithography course kept by teacher Ceci in Urbino. Since 1967 he has took part of many exhibitions, winning several awards, including the Brescia’s city award in 1971 and the “Jacopino from Tradate” in 1997. During his career he started over thirty personal exhibitions in art galleries and public spaces including Como, Monza, Brescia, Pordenone, Milan, Florence, Bologna, Rome. In 2003 he started an exhibition in Regensburg (Germany) in the Palace Thön. In 2004 he painted the last Judgement placed in Olgiate Comasco cemetery.
