Each submission should not exceed 12 pages on A4 (or US letter) paper, including title, authors, affiliations, e-mail addresses, abstract, figures, and references. Short papers should not exceed 6 pages. Unlike the past editions of SPIRE, the reviewing process of SPIRE 2016 will be single-blind, namely, each submission should be non-anonymous. The authors are strongly advised to format their paper(s) in the LNCS style. Camera-ready versions must be in this format.
Submission will be via easychair.
A clearly marked appendix containing proofs, figures, etc. omitted due to lack of space can be added at the end of each submission. This appendix will only be read and considered at the discretion of the program committee.
Papers submitted for review should represent original, previously unpublished work. At the time the paper is submitted to SPIRE 2016, and during the entire review period, the paper (or essentially the same paper) should not be under review by any other conference with published proceedings or by a scientific journal.
All papers will be refereed according to the usual scientific standards. Accepted papers will appear in the proceedings published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series. At least one author of each accepted paper must register and present the paper at the conference. Papers with no registered authors will not be included in the proceedings.
