The parents, in collaboration with the SPIDER Teachers, help to co-create the SPIDER program. Parents take on a wide variety of jobs to help with logistics, peer support, safety, fun and enrichment.
Below are the jobs and the volunteers! If there is no name under the job it means there is an opportunity for you!
If these larger jobs don't work for you at the moment, here are some day to day things you can take on without an ongoing obligation:
Roberts Creek days: put out or stack chairs, take the compost out, take the recycling out
Camp Byng days: sweep, offer to help clean bathrooms, run a load through the dishwasher, put away dishes, take the garbage out at the end of the day
Beyond Learning in Community days: child care swaps, run a session and invite people, organize something fun, profile a cool resource you love
Is there something else you want to volunteer to do? Or do you have a skill you want to teach the group? Please let Sheena know!
