Synopsis:
A three-act play.
In the first act, we find ourselves in a mountainous village in the middle of nowhere. Contemporary time. Four men and a woman. The place clenches the protagonists like a vice. It creates impasses. Under pressure, inevitable violence erupts. Inevitable?
In the second act, three of the protagonists from the first act are initially missing, replaced by others who are... almost identical looking. The place is indeterminate. Like in an ancient tragedy, we learn what happened in the first act for what we haven't seen. The second act is permeated by a mist, something like a mystery, perhaps metaphysical or magically realistic, if you prefer.
In the third act, all the questions are resolved. The first and second acts converge intellectually, and each character takes their rightful place. The play speaks, like almost of drama works, about life and death. However, it attempts to take a step beyond that, into what some, perhaps only philosophically, call the hereafter.
The play is written following the lines of pure realism. As much as it may seem to deviate slightly in the second act, the third act restores order both in form and content.
