Caipirinha

Caipirinha.  Synopsis. 

Caipirinha begins as a seductive encounter in a Rio de Janeiro bar between Michael and Maria, two Greek strangers abroad. As their flirtation deepens, buried truths surface: Michael has a criminal past, and Maria is a hired killer sent to execute him. Their night unfolds in a volatile mix of lust, danger, and philosophical confession, a love story balanced on the edge of violence.

When Maria spares his life, the story pivots: the entire play is revealed as her own creation, an imagined drama that becomes her unconventional declaration of love. A two-character psychological thriller blending realism and meta-theater, Caipirinha examines love, guilt, and the fictions we construct to survive.
