Author Biography
Michael Spengos is a Greek novelist and playwright whose work blends history, philosophy, and psychological insight. He holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Nuclear Physics from Stanford University’s Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) in California. After several years in research, he turned fully to literature, a transition from studying the laws of matter to exploring the mysteries of human nature.
He is the author of 10 acclaimed novels published by major Greek publishers, 3 collections of short stories, and 14 stage plays, several of which have been successfully performed in Greece. His fiction often merges speculative and scientific themes, balancing classical structure with emotional immediacy.
His work has received critical attention for its intellectual scope and cinematic prose.
