Dear Teacher,
Our daughter's pediatrician has recently diagnosed her with mild AD/HD, inattentive type only. We have sent copies of the testing in to the special education team at school. I also wanted to let you know and see if we can meet. One thing confuses me... will she be getting an IEP? Or a 504 plan? What is the difference? Is there anything you think that we should read before the meeting?
This is all so new to us, we were hoping you could help us understand. We trust you and you have been a great source of information for us so far! Thank you so much for everything you do for our daughter.
