Ms Sahu holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology, during which her research focused on chronic kidney disease (CKD) and mosquito fecundity. These early experiences deepened her curiosity about complex biomedical challenges and strengthened her passion for developing impactful healthcare solutions. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, NIT Raipur, focusing on biosensors. Her work centres on leveraging biosensing technologies to integrate biology with engineering, aiming to create innovative diagnostic tools with real-world applications.
Beyond research, she enjoys keeping life creative and balanced. She plays the violin as a way to unwind and explore music, and she is an avid foodie who loves discovering new cuisines—sometimes treating it like a second research project!
