Volunteering

Volunteering for various fundraising events is paramount to our clubs survival. By completing these fundraising events we are able to keep our player fees as low as possible. In order to make these events manageable we need EVERYONE to pitch in and help out.

Upcoming Opportunities: 

Board membership

The SSWP Board currently is in need of a Secretary and two members at large. Interested? Email southsalemwaterpolo@gmail.com.

Away game support

Players are not allowed to transport themselves to away games. Therefore, we need parent support to carpool kids to/from away games. Sign up to drive on the transportation page.

Home game support

At all of our home games we need at least 3 people to work the table (no table workers - no game). There will be a training event at one of our early season practices and opportunities for training throughout the season. Sign up to volunteer for a home game on the home game signups page.

Car washes (Aug. 3 and Aug. 17, 2024)

We will need items donated (sponges, hoses, soaps) and support washing cars and advertising during the fundraisers. Sign ups will be posted to TeamApp.

South Salem Tournament (Oct. 26-27, 2024)

We will need support with everything from set up to clean up including:

• Set up

• Pick up and deliver food

• Welcome people to the tournament and accept payments

• Work the table during all games

• Assist with any additional fundraiser during tournament

• Clean up
