About Us

The South Salem Water Polo club draws players from the South Salem High School feeder system in Salem, Oregon. Our association with South Salem High School ends there since we are a self-sustaining club. We are a 501(c)3 Not-for-Profit Corporation. Our club is governed by a board of directors elected by the general membership at our annual meeting in November. This board adheres to the adopted bylaws of the organization (see attached document).

Practices begin in August with games starting in early September and running through November. Our league consists of the other Salem high school clubs as well as teams from Albany, Eugene, and Medford. We are a member of the Oregon High School Water Polo Association, southern division.

We have, historically, been a non-cut sport that accepts players from novice to experienced.
