What’s most important to me is my family. I’m very appreciative of my family because they don’t judge me and make sure I’m always on the right path. My family members are the only people I can always count on to give me advice or help me in anyway. My mother is my favorite person because I can tell her anything. It’s rare to find a mother who you can really talk to and who won’t get mad at every little thing you do. My family is important and essential to my life and success. –Ashley
My family is important because without them I wouldn’t be alive today. They taught me good from bad and they always got my back when I’m in trouble. They sometimes let me do anything I want. -Avery
I enjoy being in Social Studies class with Mr. Zayas. I actually like social studies - it's my favorite subject in school! But if it wasn't for my mom, I obviously wouldn't be here. I would like to graduate from school so I can get a job and help people who need help. Every year I will certainly play sports and sign my family up with me. –Destiny

My family is important to me because I wouldn’t be here without them. They give me love and provide me with the things I need and want. They teach me right from wrong and that’s why I’m student of the month. –Briana
My family and my education are the most important to me because they help me with homework, put a roof over my head, clothes on my back and love me unconditionally. Education is the second most important thing to me because without it, I would get a terrible job. Also the things teachers teach are going to help me in life. –David
Ronny Joelyze Sabrina Susana Megan
My education is very important to me because I want to get into college and without a degree or even a diploma, you can’t get a job – even at Burger King. I am a leader and that is also important to me because I want to be a good role model to the younger children. I want them to look up to me and follow positive footsteps. My family is also important to me because without their love, support and care I wouldn’t be the student of the month. I look to push myself to achieve my goals. –Joelyz Reyes
The thing that is most important to me is my family. They support me everyday and help me when I have trouble with a problem. They also care about my education, which is also important to me because without it, I would not have a good future or career. –Susana Castro
The most important thing to me is my family because they stand by my side and they are supportive. My mom is the most important to me – she has always and will always be there for me. –Sabrina Sanchez
I will stay focused on my education. I can also reach my goals later in life. I need to be more responsible, keep up with homework and be respectful. My goal is to get into college and become a police officer. I would also like to be a professional baseball player with a law enforcement as my second goal. –Ronny Marte
My family is important to me because they want me to do better in school so I can get into college and become a doctor. My family won’t let me give up when I have trouble with my homework. They push me to become the best person I could be. –Megan Balbuena

My education is important to me because if I don't get an education, I can't follow my dreams. I want to become something not a drop out like others. Education is important because without it I can't get a job. -Esmeralda

Things that are important to me are: my family, learning, and creating. -Justin
What's important about my education? Everything! Some people think it's cool to get bad grades - well I don't. Good grades are what will influence my future. They could help me get a good job, make money, buy a house, car, clothes and more. All of this could happen with a good education and good grades. Without it I'd be working at McDonalds - which I WON"T! -Alana
