Southern Louisiana AWIS - Join / Support AWIS

Membership

There are two ways to become a member of the Southern Louisiana chapter of the Association for Women in Science:

1) Become a member of National AWIS: https://www.awis.org/join/

National Membership options include:

Student Membership, $35 annually

Early Career Membership (<10 years at professional appointment), $59 annually

Full Membership, $149 annually

Be sure to select the South Louisiana chapter of AWIS during registration so a portion of your dues is returned to our local chapter.

2) Join AWIS-SL chapter:

Not ready to join the National AWIS organization? Join the AWIS-SL chapter only using the payment links below.

Professional Member, $25.00 annually

Student, Postdoctoral Fellow, Trainee and Research Associate Members, $10 annually

Regardless of which membership option you choose, your AWIS-SL member dues will support chapter initiatives like the Outstanding Young Scientist Travel award, networking and career development programs, and community outreach activities.
