Haiku Northwest celebrates its 35th anniversary with the publication of Glimmering Hour, available on Amazon. The book focuses on 2014 to 2024, with 158 haiku and senryu by 68 members, plus eleven poets in a memorial section with an additional 44 poems. Sheila Sondik’s sumi paintings on crinkled paper augment the poems. Michael Dylan Welch introduces the book and an essay by Connie Hutchison commemorates Francine Porad, Haiku Northwest’s founder.
