Lucien Zell was born in Los Angeles, raised in Seattle, and lives in Prague. His writing has appeared in Poetry Salzburg Review and The New Orleans Review. Zell has published five full-length collections, including Tiny Kites, published by Dos Madres in 2019. His album Fall Into Flight is available on iTunes and Spotify, and he has also recorded two new music videos in Prague: “Make Me Miss” and “Even When Your Time Goes.” Zell has recently completed his first novel, The Rabbi of Auschwitz, and during quarantine he began conducting online poetry workshops. Mindy Nettifee is a poet, artist educator, and depth somatic practitioner. Her doctoral research focuses on the sensory capacities of the voice and the role of voice and language in trauma healing. She has been teaching creative writing and performance for more than 15 years, and currently works with Literary Arts, Back Fence PDX, The Moth, and Portland’s Artist Repertory Theater. She has published three full-length poetry collections and the how-to book on writing, Glitter in the Blood. Her latest collection is Open Your Mouth Like a Bell (Write Bloody).
