Jorge Enrique González Pacheco is a Cuban poet, writer, journalist, and artistic promoter living in Seattle since 2006. Author of three poetry books and two anthologies published in the United States, Spain, Mexico, and Canada. His poetry and journalism have been translated into French, Portuguese, and English. Jorge Enrique studied philosophy and Hispanic literature at universities in Cuba and Spain. In 1996, his poetry was nationally awarded in Cuba. Since 1991 he has published poetry and prose in more than nine countries. He is the founder and executive director of the Seattle Latino Film Festival.

Jorge will be sharing his poetry in Spanish, with English translations read by Erwin Galan.
