Jane Alynn

Jane Alynn is a poet, essayist, and fine art photographer. She was born in Portland, Oregon, and currently lives in Anacortes, Washington. Necessity of Flight, published in 2011 by Cherry Grove, is her first full-length collection of poems. Previously, a chapbook, Threads & Dust, was published by Finishing Line Press (2005). She received a William Stafford Award from Washington Poets Association (2004) and her poems have appeared in numerous journals, such as Calyx, Floating Bridge Review, The Pacific Review, Quercus Review, Manorborn, Snowy Egret, StringTown, and Switched-on Gutenberg, as well as in many anthologies.

Connie Walle

Connie Walle resides in Tacoma, Washington, and is president and founder of Puget Sound Poetry Connection, where she hosts the monthly “Distinguished Writer Series.” Connie also founded “Our Own Words,” a teen writing contest. She is a mother of three, grandmother of seven, and currently retired. Her poetry recently appeared in Pontoon, published by Floating Bridge Press.
