Computer Science

Welcome to my homepage!

As of August 2018, I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science (tenure-track) in the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at Tarleton State University, The Texas A&M University System, working on Computer Vision, Active Perception, and Robotics research problems. I also carry out research on perception of autonomous vehicles, deep learning, and parallel algorithms for high performance computing

Research

My research interests span the entire spectrum of robotics and computer vision. In particular, I am interested in robot navigation, multiple view geometry, geometric and probabilistic algorithms for robot/visual navigation, active vision, optical flow, space robotics, visual odometry, robot localization and mapping, biologically-inspired robotics, deep learning, and parallel algorithms
