We offer multiple credit card acceptance options.
Most commonly, we use the following processors/middleware:
1. CreditLine 911 software
2. BridgePay
3. Mercury Payment Systems
*If, at the end of the day or during the day, your system shows the following when going into the manager screen:
Clear Pending Credit Card Problem from the manager's screen (a new window will open to show the answer to this)
...Then, you will want to Settle Credit Cards from the manager's screen *outside business hours* to ensure you don't ORPHAN payments in process that have not yet closed with their respective tips. (this will open a new window to show the answer)
*To do an "Offline" credit card sale, you'll need to go to "Misc Credit Cards" from the manager's screen, as follows:
"Offline" credit card sale or "Offline" credit card credit/refund (a new window will open to show the answer)
*If a sale or credit is done via "Misc Credit Cards" from the manager's screen within 10 days of the original credit card sale, it will be quite simple to re-enter the obscured credit card number from the signed slip (the Re-Enter Credit Card option will allow you to enter the first, typically six (6) digits and the last four (4) digits, separated by approximately six (6) "X" digits, which is available on the keypad for a Re-Entry of Card data).
*In a similar way, if the staff has deleted a credit card or needs to re-enter a card during a workday, the payment screen offers a "manual entry" of cards, which allows for the obscured credit card numbers, as well (again, done by entering the first, typically six (6) digits and the last four (4) digits, separated by approximately six (6) "X" digits)
--If a sale or credit is done more than 10 days after the original credit card sale, getting the credit card number for re-entry will require getting ahold of the merchant processor or bank. The customer may need to be contacted, as well.
