Solène Inceoglu, PhD

I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Literature, Languages, and Linguistics at The Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra, Australia.

My research interests include second language speech perception and production, psycholinguistics, instructed SLA (incl. pronunciation instruction), computer-assisted language learning (esp. ASR), and co-speech gesture.  For more details on my current project, check my researcher page at ANU.

I received a PhD in Second Language Studies from Michigan State University, and I also hold a Master in Applied Linguistics and a Maîtrise in French as a Foreign Language from the Université Stendhal (Grenoble, France), and a Licence (BA) in English from the Université François Rabelais (Tours, France).

I relocated to Australia in June 2016. Before that, I lived in the United States (Oregon, Michigan, and Western New York), Germany (Konstanz and Stuttgart), Canada (Ontario), and France (my country of origin). In my spare time, I like to read, travel, learn to throw pottery, and cook/bake.
