The first edition of Solar Energy Tech will focus on the opportunities, challenges and cutting edge technologies for photovoltaic conversion.
In particular, the International Workshop will cover a wide spread of topics, from solar cells and physics, to wafer technologies, from PV system monitoring and maintenance, safety and regulation, to PVC and CSP technologies, from predictability tools and algorithms to building integration.
Moreover, the event will not be limited to technical aspects, but it will include also an institutional Round Table that will bring together highly experienced people from a wide range of institutions and organisations, involving university and academic research, industry, policy-makers and public bodies, economic and financial press, energy market authority and associations, stakeholders.
The objective of this symposium is to provide a forum for researchers from universities, research institutes and industry to get together, discuss problems and share experiences involved in PV energy production.
This edition of Solar Energy Tech will be hosted by the Department of Energy of the Politecnico di Milano on July 8th, 2010.
