To design and build a catapult that will propel a whiffle ball a minimum of 5m and accurately hit a target.

Criteria:

1. Must fit inside a cube of dimensions 12’ width × 12’ height × 12’ depth

2. Must sit freely on the floor

3. The arm must be released mechanically

Constraints:

1. Targets are at the same height level as the catapult

2. The catapult arm may not be held in place

3. A maximum of 6 elastic bands can be used

4. Tools or other shop devices may not be used as counterweights
